Danica Wages was born and raised in the foothills of California and knew she wanted to be in the healthcare field since she was a child. She started her journey at Gateway Hearing Services in 2017 and
quickly realized this was a field she wanted to pursue. Her predecessors, who started Gateway Hearing Services in 2006, trained her to become the dispenser she is today. After their retirement in 2020, the practice continued to grow and develop to what it is today. When Danica is not at work, she enjoys mountain living with her family. She is passionate about growing her own vegetable garden, her beloved animals, and any DIY project.
Keara Vanover graduated from Sacramento State with her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. From a young age she has been a passionate advocate in the deaf community and knew she wanted to go into the Speech and Audiology field. She has settled down the in the central valley of California where she started her journey with Gateway Hearing Services in 2023. She decided that becoming a licensed hearing aid dispenser needed to be in her future. She is currently working under a trainee license and on is on the path to having an independent license later this year. When Keara is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family by exploring new places and activities, and mastering any DIY project with her cricket machine.
